Mark & Mattis - Creating Community

Mark Tappan and his K9, Mattis have been a team for five years staring in several TV shows including America’s Top Dog, Entertainment tonight, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, and in studio hosts of LivePD. Mark is a former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and fifteen year veteran with the police department working for the city of Alpharetta. Mattis is the most highly decorated dog in the department’s history. Mark and Mattis’ goal is to bring the community together through their posts while showing them what the relationship looks like between a handler and its K9.
